Pete Whitridge is a licensed
massage therapist in Florida and an approved provider for
both the State of Florida and NCBTMB. He is the former
Assistant Director at the Florida School of Massage in
Gainesville, FL. He teaches “Myofascial Components of
Pain” workshops throughout the Southeast, as well as Florida
law and business building classes. His training as an
EMT, a CPR instructor, and 30 years of teaching experience
have given him many insights into the learning process.
Pete incorporates visual, kinesthetic, and auditory learning
aides to provide students with a well-rounded class.
Students receive individual attention and everyone is
encouraged to HAVE FUN!”
Pete Whitridge is doing two
presentations at the AMTA convention in
Cincinnati:
1) Business Skills: Creating
Success, is specifically designed for the newer and
developing massage therapist. In his convention presentation
you will explore marketing for success, bookkeeping,
tax/legal issues, and employment versus independent
contractor status. This presentation is designed to help you
solidify your foundation by enhancing your knowledge,
organizational skills, attitude and confidence.
2) Business Skills: Vision for your future – This class is designed
for the advanced therapist who is ready for the next step. We
will explore models of success, long range planning, and commercial
property ownership. We’ll cover vital tax and retirement
issues, practice management, and selling your practice. This
class will give you inspiration and support to achieve your
dreams.
