Addressing the Needs of an Aging
Population with Meir Schneider

At the
AMTA convention Meir Schneider will help you understand how
you can effectively address the needs of aging clients. With
increased longevity massage therapists are increasingly
dealing with osteoarthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis,
hip and joint replacements, stroke and circulatory problems,
cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and
other pathologies related to aging. In his AMTA convention
workshop, Meir will teach effective massage and movement
techniques to improve circulation, reduce stress and anxiety,
rejuvenate the brain, develop kinesthetic awareness, reduce
pain, increase range of motion, flexibility, and strength and
isolate muscle groups.
Meir Schneider is an
author, educator and pioneer therapist who overcame
congenital blindness. His holistic healthcare system,
rehabilitative and preventative, is profoundly effective with
physical and visual disorders. Visit Meir Schneider's website.
