Dr. Paiva is also the founder of the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, Western Canada's first accredited college of Naturopathic Medicine.  For over 20 years she has been a tireless pioneer and leader in developing the fields of Registered Massage Therapy, Naturopathic Medicine and Holistic practice across Canada.  She is also the author of four books and over 60 articles in complementary and alternative healthcare trade journals and a feature writer for Massage Therapy Canada Magazine.
