In this interview George will we discussing Myofascial therapy and the application to the low back. He will talk about how his Olympic experiences have influenced his work. We will learn some of the most common lower back injuries and syndromes that massage therapists are likely to treat. And George will share some new information that he learned from at the 2007 International Fascia Research Congress and talk about the application of this new information on clinical strategies and treatment protocols.
George Kousaleous is a licensed massage therapist and has practiced and taught Structural Integration and Myofascial Therapy for 30 years. He has served as a member and Vice-Chair of the Florida Board of Massage Therapy and was the Chair of the National Certification Board during its developmental years. George has directed international sports massage teams for the 1996 British Olympic Association and for the 2004 Athens Olympics.
